Working with a Nationally recognised brand the main purpose of this new role is to develop the leadership and management capability that the business needs to deliver its' organisational strategy and plans.

Broad responsibilities:

To define the critical development requirements the organisation needs to deliver its' strategy and plans, in conjunction with HR business partners and business leaders
Build management development solutions, with the involvement of business leaders and HR senior teams, that support those requirements
Act as the champion of continuous professional development and create policies and processes to support individuals in their career progression, including career path strategies
Act as the key contact with external suppliers and professional bodies *Own the commissioning of management learning design and delivery for a portfolio of products and services to meet defined requirements.
Develop the policies, frameworks and approaches for professional development
Benchmark management development approaches with comparable organisations
Strong Expertise in management development from within a corporate environment
Understands management development theory and the application of different models
Shows ability in developing and implementing both strategic and tactical initiatives in management development
To design the group-wide succession planning process, and provide a toolkit for managers to use within their own business units
To facilitate the proactive deployment of Talent at a Group level and provide a clear framework to support deployment at divisional and local levels. To work with other areas of the business to create a Leadership Career Framework to support career progression for High Potentials and future leaders

As a confident communicator, you will be well versed in stakeholder management and have well honed project management skills.

This role will play an integral part in ensuing that the business designs, implements and embeds company wide development processes and frameworks in the most effective way possible.
