Build professional relationships with site managers and employees, supporting the delivery of the HR vision. Advising managers on employee; talent, performance, resourcing, engagement and employment relations. Assist HR BP's in improving people capabilities and creating a great place to work
*Provide advice, guidance and support on non-complicated employee relations matters including, but not limited to, disciplinary, capability and grievance issues, sickness absence, ensuring all matters are dealt with fairly and consistently in line with legislation and the policies and procedures.
*Provide advice for managers carrying out disciplinary, grievance, performance, capability, fact finding and attendance meetings to ensure fair process and legal requirements are adhered to.
*To provide advice to all employees and their line managers on all maternity, paternity and parental leave issues.
*To record all H&S accident reporting on the HR system.
*Responsible for ensuring site HR policies are being kept up to date including recommending changes for central HR policies where improvements add value to the provision of HR services and our HR vision.
*Assist the Head of HR Services with the design and delivery of development workshops in areas of HR best practice and employment law.
*Maintain and update all data entry on the HR Management Information Systems.
*Record and process all manual records held on employees files ensuring payroll are informed of any changes that effect pay and require changes on the central payroll system.
*Update and report on all site HR KPI's for site weekly management meetings.
*Ensure that all new starters are inducted on site and line managers complete well-structured and meaningful probation reviews during the new starter's probation period.
*Audit the sites agency provider, acting as the sites link between Operations Managers and the agency provider.
*Highlight to the Head of HR of any failings of the agency provider's adherence to SLA's
*Any other duties that are required as part of the site transactional HR function on a daily, weekly or monthly basis
Experience - Essential
*CIPD Part Qualified or working towards.
*Generalist HR experience
*Understanding of employment law.
*Excellent administration skills
*HR generalist experience in the food industry or FMCG environment.
