A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a fantastic client of ours who are going through a key moment of evolution as a business… a truly exciting time to join and help them grow and build on their presence in the Healthcare space. In line with their strategic plan, and as the business is growing and becoming more commercial, you'll be working closely with the Finance Director. Making a significant contribution to the strategic and operational financial leadership of the organisation.

In this new role you'll help manage the finance function and support the team through some positive changes. You'll also share responsibility and input directly into key strategical & commercial projects. You'll be working closely, too, with their Business Directors on revenue generation opportunities, offering good governance & process control as well as sound commercial judgement.

Key Responsibilities:
-Delivery of varying strategic themes, change, transformation & implementation projects
-Support the Finance Director in providing expert financial advice to the Board and SMT
-Significant contribution to the strategic and operational financial stewardship of the organisation
-Responsible for:
oLine management responsibility for financial accounting and business partnering team of 8;
oSupport the leadership and ongoing delivery and review of financial planning, modelling and forecasting;
oBudget setting and monitoring process;
oTreasury and cash management;
oManagement accounts and financial statements preparation and review;
oFinancial policies, including working with other organisation to interpret national policies and practices to develop consistent approach where appropriate;
oResponsible for Audit Committee reporting and financial governance across the organisation;
oCommercial support for service developments and projects;
oProject and programme management including bids and tenders;
oLeadership of a range of change programmes as required
oResponsible for updating and upgrading a range of systems that manage the financial and accounting practices for the organisation

Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with demonstrable evidence of success at a senior management level with similar accountabilities. With the evolution of the business comes the need for experience within a change & transformation capacity. You'll be able to demonstrate experience developing a team, improving and implementing new processes whilst rolling out change across the business in an efficient and well organised manner.
