An excellent National Account Manager position has been created with a leading provider of consumer goods.

This key role will involve selling a range of high quality consumer goods into department stores and high street retailers throughout the UK.

Your remit will be to develop and grow business within an existing client base, as well as pro-actively targeting and opening new national accounts, working closely with your clients to forge strong long-term relationships, presenting new designs, conducting range reviews, identifying growth opportunities and achieving the required growth within your accounts.

Successful applicants will need to have a recent track record in selling consumer goods, homewares or similar into major retailers.

The role will require the successful candidate to:
*Manage, nurture & develop existing customers in line with commercial goals.
*Deliver and exceed all sales/KPI's.
*Execute and activate new product launches to maximise brand exposure in store & digitally.
*Negotiate across a complex set of customers and channels to grow business which works in parallel with the overarching wider business objectives.
*Collaborate with senior leaders to optimize business planning, product range development, budget control & forecasting accuracy.

Essential you will be able to demonstrate:
*Recent experience in selling homewares, soft furnishings etc into National retailers.
*Strong relationship builder.
*Good new business development skills.
*Excellent interpersonal skills.
*Pro-active and highly self-motivated.
*Enthusiastic and positive.
*Good influencer.
*Excellent communication skills.

Package:
Basic Salary: £42,000-£47,000
Commission: £48,000-£54,000 OTE
Benefits: Company Car, Mobile, Laptop, Pension
