As part of a restructuring programme, and in support of a clear and ambitious corporate strategy, our global-brand client is looking for an experienced, high-energy Channels Manager to join their growing Corporate Comms team.

With a strong background in successfully developing both strategy and content/messaging you'll be ready to take on the challenge of building a robust and effective channels strategy, globally, for this major employer.

About the role:
You'll work closely with business leadership to design, implement, manage and develop activity & messaging across the global business. You'll own the channels (digital and traditional) and act as brand custodian, internally and externally. With a close eye on governance, and working closely with IT & HR, you'll ensure channels are built, maintained and utilised in support of business goals and with the aim of improving engagement levels and, in turn, performance.

Specifically, you'll help the business implement SharePoint and Facebook at Work, develop the corporate website(s), work with the various regions on locally driven needs, input into ongoing change programmes and generally offer support and counsel to the business as it builds it's capability in communications.

About you:
You'll have spent the past 5 years or more within a channels environment (perhaps across both agency and in-house), building, rolling out and writing/creating planned comms activity across a wide range of fit-for-purpose channels... from intranets to events and everything in between.

**Critically, you'll have experience of communicating with non-office-based employees, and will have a demonstrable track record in reaching, informing and engaging these audience groups.**

An excellent writer, with an eye for a story and a strong appreciation of audience segmentation, you'll be a confident, articulate and resourceful team player. You'll bring a drive and passion for communications and will be looking to bring in best practice and move the business forward.
